When calling to set up an appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly staff, who will take the time to gather some information from you over the phone concerning the purpose for your visit as well as your insurance information. They will help schedule an appointment time with you to fit your schedule and thank you for your call.
Step 2: Arrival
Upon arrival at our beautiful and welcoming office, patients are greeted by our wonderful staff, who assists them in making copies of their ID and insurance card as well as any other pertinent information. Furthermore, the patient is provided with the appropriate intake forms and advised to ask for any assistance from the helpful front desk as needed.
Step 3: Consultation
Following the completion of the paperwork, Dr. Rassoul comes out to greet each and every patient and welcome him/her to the office. A short tour of the office is followed by private consultation with Dr. Rassoul during which time the doctor’s focus is solely on the patient and their chief complaints which brought them into the office.
Step 4: Full Examination
The patient is then taken to a treatment room where a full chiropractic, neurological, and orthopedic examination is performed to determine better understand and determine the cause of the patient’s discomfort and suffering, as well as note any and all discrepancies bilaterally indicating imbalances warranting medical necessity for care.
Step 5: Digital X-rays (as needed)
If determined that x-rays would be beneficial in the evaluation of the patient’s condition, the patient is then taken to the x-ray room where they are advised to change into a gown and the appropriate x-rays are taken. The patient is then asked to change back into their clothes and taken to a treatment room.
Step 6: Therapy
Based on the mechanism of injury, the patient is set-up on therapy in the treatment room with one or more of the following therapies: low-volt electrical stimulation, heat therapy, and ice therapy. With the help of our wonderful therapist, the patient is set-up comfortably on the treatment table with the appropriate aforementioned therapies for a period of 10-15 minutes.
Step 7: Closing
Following the therapy, the patient meets with Dr. Rassoul again, in which the doc discusses that he will review all of the information from the initial visit, including the x-rays, thoroughly in order to establish a proper care plan for the patient. Furthermore, Dr. Rassoul covers some basic home health tips to aid with the pain and discomfort, then he walks the patient to the front desk to schedule the follow-up visit, which preferably occurs 1-2 days following the initial visit.
